Apple News now has the new ‘Good Morning’ daily newsletter, which allows users to opt in email alerts about curated stories and other content.
The newsletter will have analyses, news and features collated from trusted sources. Apple mentioned that Apple News is the top news app for the iPhone. Though there are plenty of pageviews the advertisers are struggling with monetization.
The daily content will have summaries and headlines from The Hollywood Reporter, LA Times, Reuters, The Washington Post and more, written by Apple’s editorial team. Plus, there’s a section that contains a quote titled ‘The Last Word’.
Apple is currently exploring a bundle that’s made up of Apple News+, Apple TV+ and Apple Music to boost subscriber numbers.
Subscribing to the daily newsletter is easy, but unsubscribing may not appear on the email. To opt out, open a browser and point to appleid.apple.com, log in with your email address and scroll to the ‘Messages from Apple’. Find and uncheck the ‘Apple News updates’ box.
