Apple has officially renewed the Apple TV+ original thriller ‘Servant‘ for a second season even if the first hasn’t appeared yet. Jimmy Fallon, host of Tonight’s Show has confirmed that M. Night Shyamalan’s series will get a second showing as it heads to the November 28 premiere.
It’s not the first series to get a renewal in the Apple TV+ platform- For All Mankind, See and Dickinson are all getting them as well. The Morning Show received the same vote of confidence from Apple- two seasons were ordered from the start.
‘Servant’ is a psychological thriller about a couple who experienced a terrible tragedy. M. Night Shyamalan is the show’s director.
These early renewals should tide Apple TV+ until they get more original content for their service.
Apple TV+ costs $4.99 per month and has a 7-day free trial. Those who recently bought a new iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV can get the service free for one year.
