As expected, Apple TV+ has launched November 1 with the promise of a year’s worth of free access when you buy a new iPhone, Mac, Apple TV, iPad or iPod Touch. However, some subscribers were having issues redeeming their free Apple TV+ on the TV app.
A large percentage of individuals are having trouble activating the offer on Apple products. Some have reported greater success on a web browser and logging in their Apple ID. However, there’s an easier way to get your Apple TV+ fix, and that’s by contacting Apple support.
According to Reddit users, Apple representatives can provide 1-year offer codes that may be redeemed in iTunes or the App Store.
All you need to do is provide the version of the device, date and proof of purchase, and finally the store where you bought the Apple product. The code may say ‘free for one week’ but towards the bottom it will say that the promo is good until November 2020.
