As the latest iPads now have Apple Pencil support, buying the accessory seems almost like an afterthought.
People might balk at having to spend $94 for the first gen Pencil or $129 for the second-gen model, but here’s an alternative for you.
Logitech’s iPad stylus, labeled Logitech Crayon is now at $20 off from its original price of $70. The drawing tool is fully compatible with the current iPad Mini, iPad Air and the iPad and can do the job of taking notes, sketching concepts and drawing up plans, among others.
The Logitech Crayon is priced $49.99 on Amazon, which is almost a $45-difference compared to the 1st gen model and $79 off on the latest Apple Pencil model.
What the Apple Pencil replacement lacks though, is pressure sensitivity. Instead, you can simply position the Crayon at a different angle to determine the line weight. Still, it’s a good deal if you need a capable tool for simple sketches and everyday note-taking.
