Apple has launched a new iPod Touch with 32, 128 and 256GB storage options priced as low as $199. This is the 7th-gen iPod Touch the company has released, and on the same day May 28th, the iPod Touch 6 was officially discontinued.
Apple touts that the device is built with the A10 Fusion Chip, making the device up to 3 times faster in the graphical processing department and 2 times faster in performance aspects. The A10 Fusion is the same component as with the iPhone 7 Plus, the iPhone 7 and the 6th gen iPad.
Rounding out the specs are a 4-inch Retina display housed in a 6.1mm thick and 3-ounce shell, Touch ID features, a speaker, mic and a 3.5mm jack. It can play music for 40 hours and videos for up to 8 hours. Also, the new iPod Touch will have the same 2MP front and 8MP rear cameras as its predecessor.
