Apple has recently released version 83 of their experimental browser called Safari Technology Preview. The May 29 update contains performance improvements and bug fixes on CSS, Web Inspector, Web API, WebDriver, WebRTC, Service Workers, Rendering and Storage Access API.
The release is only available to macOS Mojave and macOS High Sierra users. To those who have downloaded Safari Technology Preview, they may update to the new Preview build by heading to the Software Update section in the App Store. Release notes may be viewed in full at the Safari Technology Preview website.
Safari Technology Preview was first created in 2016 as a way to test features that may or may not be introduced in official release versions of the Safari browser. Apple hopes that developers and users of the software can test out the new features and provide invaluable feedback. Opening the Preview browser will not interfere with official release versions, and the app won’t require a developer account to access or download.
