During the past few years, we have been hearing talks about the 5G technology that claims to bring enhanced speed, better coverage, and effective responsiveness to our wireless devices.
In the year 2019, we can finally see the 5G dream becoming a reality with AT&T and Verizon launching their respective 5G networks.
Surprisingly, the launch did not see as much ‘fanfare’ as anticipated. This is primarily because the 5G is also facing its share of doubts – similar to any other new technology that is on the verge of becoming mainstream.
In fact, many individuals took to the internet where they shared their concerns and cynicism regarding the new form of technology and queried regarding the coverage of 5G in rural areas where it is impossible to have consistent 3G service.
Some users also found the additional price for the upgrade to be ‘hard’ on the pocket while others said the service is presumably ‘too hyped.’
Judging from the comments, it might seem safe to say that the audience might not adopt the fifth generation of cellular mobile communication as quickly as deemed.
What do you think? Will you be an early adopter of the new technology? Let us know in the comments below!
