Apple has announced its new Apple News Plus subscription service earlier today at the “It’s Showtime” event. With the Apple News Plus subscription, news junkies can now get updates from over 300 top publishers such as Vogue, National Geographic Magazine, People, ELLE, The Wall Street Journal, and Los Angeles Times within the Apple News App
Currently, the service is only available to users in the US and Canada. Prices for the subscription starts at $9.99 per month for users in the US while users in Canada will have to pay $12.99 per month. Apple also offers a free one month trial for users who which to try it out.
That being said, a single Apple News Plus subscriber can also share access with up to 6 family members by the “Family Sharing” option in the Apple News App.
The Apple News Plus subscription is now available for users with the release of iOS 12.2 and macOS 10.14.4.
