Zagg has announced a new series of keyboards for Apple’s latest iPad models, designed to provide protective and lightweight coverage for an encased iPad, along with backlit, laptop-style keys for ultimate on-the-go productivity. The new Slim Book Go ($100 / $130) is available for Apple’s 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models, as well as the 9.7-inch iPad, and as the name implies provides a thin case and keyboard combination that’s detachable and lightweight yet sturdy. The tougher Rugged Book Go ($150) for the 11-inch iPad Pro provides increased durability and can withstand drops of up to 6.6 feet, while the slender, lightweight keyboard adds minimal bulk while still providing a functional and comfortable typing surface. Messenger Folio ($70) for the 11-inch iPad Pro is a lightweight keyboard that doubles as a case with a simple and intuitive design and a magnetic closure that keeps the iPad easily accessible while still holding the case securely closed when not in use. All of the cases use Bluetooth technology to pair with the iPad or iPad Pro with a rechargeable battery that promises up to three months of typical use between charges, and also include built-in holders for an Apple Pencil.
