Matthew Parrish, a photographer from Boardman, Ohio, wanted to upgrade an old Nintendo Game Boy Color. So, he attached an Olympus OM10 SLR camera, making it perfect for pixel portrait photography. How? The camera’s sensor was taped to a small piece of cardboard to fit in the film exposure window from the partially disassembled Game Boy camera. “Okay but that’s not really what he did – he opened up the Game Boy camera to expose the image sensor and mounted it inside the old SLR shell by taping the camera to the game boy camera,” said his friend Max Krieger.
