Microsoft Windows 10 users with Apple’s iCloud for Windows installed will find that they’re not being offered Microsoft’s latest Windows 10 update due to compatibility problems, according to a report by Windows Latest. According to a Microsoft support document, “Apple has identified an incompatibility with iCloud for Windows (version 7.7.0.27) that may cause users to have issues updating or synching Shared Albums after updating to Windows 10, version 1809” and Microsoft adds that in order “to ensure a seamless experience,” devices with version 7.7.0.27 of iCloud for Windows will not see the latest Windows 10 update “until this issue has been resolved.” Users will also be unable to install this version of iCloud for Windows after updating to Windows 10 version 1809. While Apple has not commented on the compatibility issues, Microsoft notes that the two companies are working together to provide a compatible version “in an upcoming release.” [via 9to5Mac]
