The Wiimote, also known as the Wii Remote, is the primary controller for Nintendo’s Wii console, and what made it stand out was its motion sensing capability. This enabled the user to interact with and manipulate items on screen via gesture recognition and pointing through the use of accelerometer and optical sensor technology. Yahoo Japan user “Kuriaisu1122” recently sold an early prototype, which is basically a two-piece controller with a wired GameCube connection and it requires plugging the sensor bar into a GameCube memory card slot.
