As one of the world’s largest smartphone manufacturers, Xiaomi has a lot of devices to keep updates. For the most part, they do a decent job of this. They can be slow at times to push out Android version updates, but MIUI updates often come frequently. MIUI 10 Global Stable is now rolling out to a slew of devices: Xiaomi Mi Max 3, Xiaomi Mi Max 2, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Lite, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5/Pro, and the Xiaomi Redmi 6.
MIUI 10 Global was first launched in May. It includes many new features, such as full-screen gestures, AI-powered camera features, a redesigned recent apps screen and more. Xiaomi has been rolling it out to devices the past few months. Today, it’s available for the 6 devices listed below. As a global ROM, this comes with Google Play Services and more language options, unlike the Chinese MIUI 10 ROMs.
You don’t have to wipe your device to install a recovery ROM. You can download the file below for your device and sideload it in the MIUI system updater. As you can see, some of the updates are for Android 8.1, while some are still Android 7.1. Hit the link and start installing MIUI 10 on your device!
